EIU Rector Welcomes the Rector of John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (Poland) and Vaja Vardidze, Rector of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University (Georgia)
Today, on May 2, Rector of Eurasia International University, Dr. of Geographical Sciences, Professor Suren Ohanyan hosted Mr. Antoni Debinski, the Rector of John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (Poland), the Head of the Press Office of the same University, Lidia K. Jaskula and Vaja Vardidze, Rector of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University (Georgia). Suren Ohanyan welcomed the latter’s visit to Eurasia International University and expressed conviction that the agreement signed in April will create more stable preconditions between Eurasia International University and John
Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. Moreover, Ohanyan stated that today’s visit will open new prospect for further collaboration between EIU and Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University.
The rectors discussed the peculiarities and existing problems of Higher Education Systems at an institutional level. Speaking about the expansion of cooperation, the rectors highlighted the developments in a number of areas: postgraduate education, research, exchange of students and lecturers.
According to the agreement reached in the course of the meeting, it is planned to develop clear steps for deepening cooperation in the above-mentioned areas.
