Fighting behind: The Ohanyan scholarship holders have been finalized
“A nation that has intelligent professionals is unconquerable. Today’s victorious army proved that knowledge gives birth to strength, forces us to orient ourselves in unexpected and stressed situations. Our victory is taking place not only on the front line but also on the strongback gives strength to the soldiers, therefore, we must do our obligation well. Keep learning and work on your self-education.
Becoming competitive professionals in our fields, each of us may affect on strengthening our land. Armenians must still live on this land for millennia,” said Suren Ohanyan, EIU Rector, following a minute of silence in honor of the memory of the Armenian Army martyrs.
Afterward, the students, who showed the top results in the bachelor’s educational programs during the 2019-2020 academic year, were awarded “OHANYAN” scholarships based on the decision of the EIU Academic Council. The scholarships were presented to the students by the Rector of the University in person.
The list of the scholarship holders is as follows:
- Marina Geghamyan, Specialization in Management, second course, full scholarship (100% tuition fee)
- Nazik Stepanyan, Specialization in English Language and Literature, second course, partial scholarship (80 % of the tuition fee)
- Tatev Hayrapetyan, Specialization in English Language and Literature, third course, partial scholarship (60% of the tuition fee)
- Karine Armenakyan, Specialization in Management, third course, partial scholarship (50 % of the tuition fee)
- Mariam Ayvazyan, Specialization in Management, third course, partial scholarship (50% of the tuition fee),
- Lidia Sahakyan, Specialization in Managemen, third course, partial scholarship (40% of the tuition fee)
Summing up the above-stated, Rector Suren Ohanyan expressed confidence that “the scholarship holders will not only maintain high performance but will be the best examples for the other students. And of course, the whole team of EIU is looking forward to the return of our students serving in the national army.”
