How to Communicate: International Expert’s View
In the framework of the Erasmus + project, Eurasia International University in partnership with Santiago de Compostela University (Spain) launched a two-day workshop entitled “How to Convey Ideas and to Communicate Correctly”, carried out by Associate Professor Jose A. Neira Cruz from the University of Santiago de Compostela.
At the start of the training, the facilitator elicited the concept of “communication” by defining its basic elements, then he elaborated on the principles of communication, speaking of verbal and non-verbal communication, in particular focusing on silence as a form of communication, and then touched upon the communication elements, such as relative indices.
The facilitator spoke in detail about the specific behavioral differences of the communication participants – those who convey ideas and those who receive them, as well as about the difficulties that can arise during negotiations and the ways to overcome them. While analyzing the imparted information, the participants talked about their own experience in specific situations, exposing their own strengths and weaknesses, which led to a discussion.
We would like to remind that the two-day discussions were organized in the context of the Erasmus + project, by Eurasia International University in partnership with Santiago de Compostela University (Spain).
