Founded in 1996, EIU is accredited by the National Centre for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation (ANQA). The University provides international applicants with full support ranging from one-on-one counseling during the admissions process to assistance for students with visa processing, housing, course registration, and more.

Visa Support
Admissions for applicants holding foreign citizenship are carried out according to the decree on “Students with foreign citizenship” adopted by the RA Ministry of Education and Science.
When a student is admitted to the preparatory department of EIU, the university applies to the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs to acquire a visa. After acquiring a permit, the student can apply to the Armenian embassy in his or her country to get a single-entry visa.
Some countries are exempt from needing a visa for Armenia, while others need to apply for a visa in advance or can obtain it on arrival. You can check the visa policy for your country on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
Foreign citizens from several countries may obtain visas right upon their arrival to Armenia at border checkpoints. The overall process takes about 20-25 minutes.

Mentoring Program
It is always difficult to study abroad and live in a new environment, especially when there are cultural, language and other differences. To that end, Eurasia International University has adopted Mentor’s program to help international students adapt to the environment.
Mentors are Armenian student volunteers. Many of them have already been Erasmus students and therefore they know what kind of issues international students may face. All international students have mentors who can answer a range of questions and assist in helping with different problems:
- Meeting at Zvartnots International Airport
- Accompanying the hostel
- Preparing documents for the migration-center
- On-going counselling and support

Requirements
- Presenting valid and official results confirming English language proficiency typically through the following options
- TOEFL, iBT or TOEFL iBT Home Edition Tests (target score: 34*)
- IELTS Academic or IELTS Indicator Exams (target score: 4.5*)
- Apply for the Language Assessment organized internally by the University.
Note: the applicants with a target score of 4 are invited to benefit from the Preparatory Course’s academic packages.
- Completed application form addressed to the Minister of Education and Sciences of RA (the form is provided by the Ministry)
- The questionnaire provided by the Ministry can be downloaded through QUESTIONNAIRE
- Medical certificate on general health status. This certificate may also be provided by medical bodies of the Republic of Armenia
- Copies of all pages of the passport or birth certificate and (or) baptism certificate
- Copy of the document certifying the academic education level
- 6 photos (3×4 sm)
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) written in English.
- Receipt of admission and registration fee payment (in Armenian drams equivalent to 100 USD)
IMPORTANT
- The documents will be considered only if ratified by the consular departments of diplomatic missions of the Republic of Armenia in foreign countries unless otherwise provided by the laws of the Republic of Armenia or international agreements:
- The documents together with the EIU Rector’s reference letter are submitted in person to the Ministry of Education and Sciences by an authorized representative of the University. If the applicant is physically present in the Republic of Armenia, he/she can personally submit the above documents to the Ministry.
- If you want an EIU representative to submit the documents to the RA Ministry of Education and Sciences, please mail the full package of documents to the following address: info@eiu.am. The fields NAME and SURNAME should be filled in by the applicant’s first and last names.
- Documents admission and processing fee – the documents’ admission and processing fee (100 USD) is not refundable. The University bank details for the fee payment can be downloaded via the following LINK. Your application will not be considered unless accompanied by the payment receipt.
Admission Period
The foreign citizens, Diaspora Armenians and foreign applicants must submit their applications to the Ministry within the following timeframe:
- For admission to a free full-time bachelor’s educational program for applicants from the Armenian Diaspora – from June 15 to August 25, 2024
- For admission to full-time bachelor’s, as well as continuous and integrated educational programs with tuition fee – from June 15 to September 22, 2024
- For admission to a full-time master’s educational program with a tuition fee – from June 15 to October 6, 2024
- For admission to part-time bachelor’s and master’s educational programs with tuition fees – from June 15 to October 13, 2024
- For admission to a postgraduate educational program with a tuition fee (PhD) – from June 15 to December 1, 2024
- For admission to full-time primary professional (vocational) and middle professional educational institutions with tuition fees – from June 15 to August 18, 2024
- For admission to part-time middle professional educational institutions with tuition fees – from June 15 to October 13, 2024
- For admission to the preparatory department with tuition fees – from June 15 to November 10, 2024
